Now for the fun part! It’s time to pick out paint colors, tile, floor coverings, light fixtures, cabinets, countertops, doors, trim, knobs…are you feeling overwhelmed yet? Not only is there a lot to think about, but the options are endless! We’ve had months of daydreaming trying to decide between the perfect blend of trendy yet timeless. I have always been obsessed with light fixtures. The one thing I knew I wanted for sure was the Hundi Metal Glass pendent from Pottery Barn for the dining room. Do you remember the Kohler commercial when the woman set a bathroom sink faucet on the table and said, “Design a house around this.” That’s how I feel about this light. I figure it must be pretty timeless because they’ve been selling it for years now. I also knew that I wanted a fun black and white tile for the laundry room. I absolutely love blue, gray and white paint colors, hard wood flooring and granite countertops. Here’s a glimpse of some our color choices. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
